How to apply patch for two files using installshield 2012
Hi,
I am using Installshield 2012 where I have added two exe like (notepad.txt) and (releasenote.xls).
I had built the installshield and published the project (ver 1.0) using released wizard .
Now, I have added an additional file (say word.doc) and created ver 1.1.I would like to create a patch for this so that existing users can upgrade to 1.1 with minimal download.
However, from the patch wizard, where I specify the latest and the previous version and build, I get the error: -6415 which indicates "There was an error creating the patch package. Writing contents
of log file 'C:\work\sample_app\Proj_1\PatchConfiguration1\Interim\PatchCreation.log' to output window ".
These are MSI projects. Looking into the forum, it indicates that it could be due to lack of disk space (I have checked and have adequate space).
What could the problem be ? Am I missing some basic steps ?
Please advise,

Have you set the Previous Package?
Open: Media : Releases : Full : [Web] : Build tab : Previous Package
Set Previous Package to\Full\Prev1\xxx.msi

You can attach the PatchCreation.log for review.
And a small question - do you use UNC path to your the latest\previous package?
