How to add SQL Server 2005 database as Installation Requirement
Hi ,
I need to check whether SQL Server 2005 database exists or not in the installing machine as an Installation Requirement. If there is no SQL Server 2005 database it should stop the installation and show the message, SQL Server 2005 database does n't exists.
Thanks,
Saranyan

Do u want to check for SQL server software or any particular database.
If u want to check for SQL Server software then use System search using registries.
If u want to check for any particular database, and if you are provising that database. then why dont you create database in their system, if it is not available. use sql scripts option and it will create the database if it not exists in the user system. Check with that option.
If this is not your requirement, then please explain your question clearly
