Force a New Component Installation in Minor Upgrade?
I am creating a minor upgrade where a a new component is created.
For some reason, the new component is not being installed. I have gone through the requirements for a minor upgrade and can't seem to find anything wrong. Also, the installation log just shows it not being installed. My question is this.
Can you force the installation of a new component in a minor upgrade?

A new component can be added if you are using Windows Installer 2.0 or later If it is not happening try
Add a subfeature to existing feature add the new component in this newly created subfeature and set the subfeature properties
• Remote Installation—Set this property to Favor Parent.
• Required—Set this property to Yes.
