Files not getting replaced

Hi,

I my system has an old product developed in .net installed. Now i have created a new installshield project and running the new installer on top of the old one. But the new files are not getting replaced. I am not doing any upgrade or patch here.

Have you changed the file version info in the new DLLs, so that it is greater than the file version info of the old files?

Ya i tried by changing the version of the dll as well.

Have you verified the settings related to overwriting and updating are set as desired in the Component(s)?

Have you checked to see if the problem target files are read-only?

Just a couple ideas..
