File size limit 4gb

Hi

Our company have InstallShield, and we can't build file larger that 4gb.

Our build servers are 64bit machines.

This is our license in the picture.

 

Questions:
1. Why we can't build file larger than 4gb ? What is the problem ? License ?

2. How can we build with InstallShield a file that is larger than 4gb ?

3. If the problem is license, do you have another license for build file larger that 4gb ?

Hi @Amir999 ,

Are you creating a compressed setup.exe? If yes try to create a uncompressed setup.exe with multiple cab files and then try. check below help link on setting cab file size.

And also windows has certain limitation on number of files added and size of single setup.exe, Please refer below community post which discusses similar issue.
