File over write in modify installation??
Hi!, I have installed my product through setup.exe . After this new installation user modifies the installed file manually. How the modified file will be over written in modify installation? Is there any way to over write the user modified file in modify installation(user modified file will be deleted and actual file will be installed)? Any help appreciated.....Thanks!!

Go to the FIles and folders. right click the file and go to properties.
Here you will find a check box 'Always overwrite'. THis will solve your problem

I have tried with "Always Overwrite" option. but in modify installation file is not overwritten. This option is effective in Upgrade installation.
Is there any other option available for Modify installation.???

Delete the file from installscript if the user selects modify. The setup will automatically restore the original file during modify if its deleted.
