I found that I had problems signing because I had applied the hotfix for Q210261 but then AFTER that I had applied hotfix A (Q210896).

Applying hotfix A after the hotfix for Q210261 seems to render the fix for Q210261 inoperative.

So I had this order:
Applied hotfix for Q210261 -> signing problem solved
Applied hotfix A (Q210896) -> caused signing problem to reappear
Re-applied hotfix for Q210261 -> signing problem solved

Hope that helps

In reply to the following, I'm also having the 1027 error problem dealing the applying a digital certificate. I can't find the hotfix you mention...Q210261 -- were did you find this hotfix?

Thanks...
A

I found the fix for Q210261 here:
http://kb.flexerasoftware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=Q210261&sliceId=1&docTypeID=DT_HOTFIX_1_1&dialogID=103183048&stateId=0%200%20103179330

Since I just noticed that this post is in the I/S 2011 Express forum, I should also note that I was using I/S 2011 (not I/S 2011 Express). However, the order issue I mentioned may still apply - worth trying, at least.
