Extreme Noob: quick question
quick question. I just got tasked with creating an install package at work. Now I have never used Install Shield. Everytime I create an Basic MSI install package it puts the company name and Product name in the shotcut from the start menu. My client wanted just the Product Name and then the executable. Is there any way that a noob like me can do this. Thanks for any help.

So the way I'm reading this, you just need one less folder level on your Start Menu shortcut?
Here's what to do: Go into the Installation Designer (that's the Advanced View, if you haven't been using it already). Then open System Configuration -> Shortcuts. Should be a lovely graphical representation of the Start Menu shortcut system that you can tweak.
Is that it, or was it something else?
