Error with IISRT: -2172
Hi there,
I'm starting creation of the installation of our new web app. It's basically in its skeleton form, but I was hoping to get the AppPool, Site and web apps installed.
I receive...
I'm not quite sure what this means. Can anyone shed some light?
I'm starting creation of the installation of our new web app. It's basically in its skeleton form, but I was hoping to get the AppPool, Site and web apps installed.
I receive...
Application pool Enable32bitAppOnWin64 value is 'false'
InstallShield 17:50:29: SetAspversion: machine is 64-bit and IIS running in a bit mode other than the currently selected mode
InstallShield 17:50:29: Error with IISRT: -2172
CustomAction ISIISInstall returned actual error code 1603 (note this may not be 100% accurate if translation happened inside sandbox)
Action ended 17:50:29: InstallFinalize. Return value 3.
I'm not quite sure what this means. Can anyone shed some light?

I was able to get the installation to run through to completion. I made sure Enable for 32 bit was false or off and made sure all modes were set to 64 Bit.
The problem now is that the two web apps that were supposed to be housed under a new web site, which is set up in the application, but the apps end up under Default Web Site. Why would that be or where can I look to find the solution to that issue?

Found that too - port number needed to be bumped to something other than 80.
