Error reading initialization file (!!!)
We have a script that on one computer (with XP SP2) produces a nice executable setup.exe file (compressed), yet on another computer (also XP SP2) I get "Error reading initialization file" when trying to execute the setup.exe file. This is insane. Help ?
TIA

Fortunately we found the problem. The setup.ini file in the InstallShield 2008 distribution (clean install) has Unix line-endings. Macrovision, how did you accomplish that ? Guess there's a hotfix comin'...
When we converted setup.ini to Windows line-endings, the setup.exe file works fine...
