Error Message when using Dialogue view
Clicking on a dialogue in the custom action and sequence view in InstallShield 2008 prof. german raises an error message "Runtime Error. Do you want to start debugging? Line: 19 Error: The visibility property was not found. wrong argument"
What's causing that error?
What's causing that error?

As a test, looking at both the Basic MSI and InstallScript MSI (just to be certain) project types in German Professional IS2008 & German Premier IS2008, I am able to select all the items in the list of the Custom Action and Sequence view without error. Admittedly, we would not expect to see dialogs in this view in an InstallScript MSI project.
But that brings up the question: which project type are you using?
Also, which item was selected when the message was seen? Was it a standard dialog, available in the list when the project was first opened, or a custom dialog?
Is this message seen in a new, unaltered project?
How was the project modified to this point?--More specifically, were any dialogs in this project modified? Are custom properties used in the dialog(s)?
Is the message accurate? Is there a visibility property missing, zum Beispiel, in the ControlCondition, ControlEvent or Control tables?

I have done a try with a new, unchanged BasicMSI project:
1. Datei - Neu - Basic MSI-Projekt
2. Change to view Installationsdesigner
3. Open Sequenzen - Installation - Benutzeroberfläche
4. Click on SetupCompleteSucces (or InstallWelcome, ...)
-> Error Message: "Es ist ein Laufzeitfehler aufgetreten- Soll der Debugmodus gestartet werden? Zeile: 19 Fehler: Die visibility Eigenschaften wurden nicht gefunden. UngĂĽltiges Argument."

Hope this helps to locate the cause of the problem.

Yes, this helped. Thanks.
There is a script part in this file with:
InfoSpan.Style.visibility = "verborgen"
This vbscript part must not be translated into german. So correct is:
InfoSpan.Style.visibility = "hidden"
This change solves it.
@MACROVISION: Please add this correction to the next service packs. Thanks.
