Error Code 1925 - Run as Administrator
Hello,
We have had numerous users reporting the above error when trying to run
Setup.exe. In most cases they are the admin user account or at the very least
have a user account that has admin rights.
Required execution level is set for Invoker in Media->Releases->setup.exe(tab)
The installation is fairly basic, installs a few files and sets a few registry entries. Also has a number of prerequisite installs such as VC++ 2008(x86)
Any help greatly appreciated.
PS In addition, the work around is for the user to right-click on Accessories->CMD(Run as administrator), then run setup.exe - runs perfectly??
Regards, Iain

Thanks TsungH,
Yes, Vista and above.I am aware of UAC, However< I do not know how to bypass/set the correct user permission level in InstallShield 2012 so that my software can be installed correctly.
What functional area within Installshield 2012 should I be configuring?
Regards,
Iain....

You will want to set the Required Execution Level to Administrator to ensure your software to install correctly.
