Error -6248 Cannot Find Dependent File
I get the following warning:
Warning 1 -6248: Could not find dependent file Softelvdm.NETHelper_x64.dll, or one of its dependencies of component TuVB2010_Engineering_Viewer.exe
Softelvdm.NETHelper_x64.dll lives in C:\Program Files\Softelvdm\SftTree OCX 7.0\Redist
I tried putting it in the directory where the .exe lives (~\bin\debug), and still got the Warning
I tried putting it in ~\Bin, and got the warning
I tried putting it in ~ and got the warning
I need to get this resolved before I can continue.
I haven't changed any internal InstallShield settings.
Thanks,
Rick

Hi Rick,
Can you try placing Softelvdm.NETHelper_x64.dll in the same folder as TuVB2010_Engineering_Viewer.exe component and see if the scanner picks it up.
Please take a look at the below KB article, which describes the error and possible resolution for the same:-
http://kb.flexerasoftware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=Q109065
Regards,
Swetha

Hi Swetha,
Thanks for the suggestion. I put the file in the same folder as TuVB2010_Engineering_Viewer.exe component and the scanner didn't find it. I've already read the above referenced article.
Thanks,
Rick
