Elevate Privileges

I've done installations with Installshield Pro but my new client is using LE. We're trying to set up the installation to invoke elevated privileges but have yet to find the right combination of settings for this. We are installing prerequisites such as .Net 4.5 and writing to the Programs folder as well as the registry. We want a standard user to be able to install the product if possible. We can eliminate prerequisites and registry entries for the standard user but they will have to update the application in the Programs folder which requires admin privileges. This is for a Windows 8 tablet. Is what we are trying to do possible with LE? If so, can you please tell us how to proceed?

This seems to be a windows behavior, even after modifying the required execution level and trying to run the installer with elevated privileges for a standard user, windows doesn't allow installation of the packages to programfiles folder. Adminstrator privilege levels are required to run these type of packages on windows 8.

Thanks

We are seeing the same issue on Windows 7 and have always been able to have standard users update the applications which does make changes to the Programs folder. It would be very helpful to understand the default operation of the LE edition of Installshield.
