EXE not deleted after successful un-installation
Hi All,
I have been facing one problem while un-installing setup.exe. After running un-installation, only some of the files are deleted, but not all the files and folders gets deleted. And also main EXE of the project not deleted.
If any body have any solution or idea please let me know.
Thanks,
Sumeet Sharma

Hi sumeet182k
Is it the first installation? or is it an upgrade?
As files that have been modified by other installs wont be deleted unless the upgrade with which they were installed is removed.
Also do the files have the protected or "REMOVE=" Function set to NO?
Can we have some more info please

Yes, Its the first installation and not an upgrade.
My project is a basic MSI Project in installShield 2012.
I don't know anything about the following line:
"Also do the files have the protected or "REMOVE=" Function set to NO?"
Please tell me the steps to check the above comment.
Thanks,
Sumeet Sharma
