In InstallScript project. I am using dynamic link. But if I change the feature of the component, the dynamic link of the component will be gone. So I have to set the link again. This happens on 2008 to 2010. When can the company fix this issue?
Can you list steps to reproduce this? I just added a component with a dynamic link then I removed it and associated it with a different feature and did not lose the dynamic link.....
1. Create New InstallShield Project 2. Create 2 features under DefaultFeature A and B 3. Goto Application Target Folder 4. Create Folder TestA 5. Create NewComponent1 Under Test1 6. Right Click NewComponent1 Choose File Linking 7. Select Dyanamic Links, Check include subfolder 8. Press OK 9. Right Click NewComponent1, Choose properties 10. Select Features 11. Modify Feature (From A to B or something else) 12. Press OK 13. The Dyanamic link is gone
