Duplicate initial folder after rename it
Hi,
I just recently use InstallShield 2010, and get this weird installer behaviour.
1) Install application to folder : Example1
2) Run the application
Works fine..
3) Rename folder Example1 to Example2
4) Run the application
Then this dialog prompted :(see attachment), and Example1 folder will suddenly appear & was created.
Any idea how should I avoid this behaviour? Help anyone?

I think you're seeing the autorepair kick in...
if u have key files in a component, this feature of windows installer will kick in , if it can't find the key files in the right places.

Thanks! Glad that someone feedback on this...
Is there any way should I do something on the InstallScript to fix this?
I have no clue what to check on...
