Deploying a component to multiple destinations
I know there are other ways to do this but is there a purely declarative way (w/o coding InstallScript that is) to deploy a particular component of a feature to multiple destination locations on the target machine?
I have a short cut link that needs to go to StartMenuFolder and the StartUpFolder. Just creating the 2 different components each pointing to the same file but with different destination folders does not seem to work.
Can anyone help?

If you want to create a shortcut of a file in both StartMenuFolder and StartUpFolder, you don't need to create 2 separate components. A component can have more than 1 shortcut.
