Custom Action fired by push button

Hello,

It would be nice to see in Custom Action Applet not only
sequences in which is this CA called, but also
User Interface (DoAction) which trigged this CA.

The MSI user interface does indeed support 'triggering' custom actions--with buttons, when the button is pressed.

However, the MSI UI is limited beyond that.

Microsoft is accepting suggestions for MSI and if you are interested in more functionality, there are probably others too.

Hello,
I mean, it is only a small extending of this applet which shows
Custom Action properties.

You can simply put another field which shows the names of those dialogs which use this CA.
