Custom Action Not Firing

Hi,

I have an installer which ships the Microsoft Data Access Engine, installing it after the main install as a custom action.

On Windows XP 32-bit it executes the action correctly.
On Windows 7 64 -bit it again executes correctly.
On Windows 7 32-bit, it does not execute. No error message, just doesn't launch.

I am assuming it's something to do with 32-bit win 7 as this is the only commonality I can find.

My custom action is set to use the SUPPORTDIR as I want the setup exe binned after it installs, all operating systems are targetted and no other conditions are set.

Can anyone help?

A verbose log may help you troubleshoot the issue. KB article Q104807 explains how to create the log.
