I originally replied to a message that was over 10 years old so I am creating a new one...
I have an application's help files that have been zipped up into a self-extracting .EXE which I call in a CA in my install. The problem now is that on some Windows 7 PCs, running the file locks up the entire OS! The files are 24 and 6 MB before being extracted (and end up being about double that size installed). Can anyone help? I can't explain why it works on my desktop but not my manager's or two testers. Thanks!
