Changing the Desktop Icon
Hi,
I am using InstallShield 21008 to build a setup for my product. I am using Basic MSI project. I am placing a example file in the Desktop while installing. I have placed the file in the Desktop folder in the application files. I want to change the Icon of the file that gets into the desktop folder. Now it gets loaded to the desktop folder but i want that to be displayed with an Icon of my preference. How to change that.
Waiting for early response.
Thanks in advance,
Krishna Kumar.P

If you're creating a shortcut, you should be able to change the icon, but for an ordinary file you might be stuck with the file's (or file type's) icon.
