Can't validate custom release

I'm doing a Basic MSI install and have created a custom release, which is really a Web release because it caches the MSI locally.

For some reason when I select this release and go to Build -> Validate, all the menu items are disabled. So, I can't do a Vista logo validation.

Does anyone know why this would be?

You can only validate releases that create .msi files, not if the msi file is packed inside a setup.exe.
