COM-SERVER registration failed
 Hi all !
can someone tell me how can i register a com-server .dll file ?
I tried it first with the component wizard, then with component advencend settings and then with right click on the key-file (extract com-server informations). BUT the registration dosen´t take place. When i do it manually via command line (RegSvr32.exe *.dll) it works ! very strange !
I need help, please answer me if you know the solution !
Thanks in advance

Hi all,
in order to register some dlls i did it by using a CA where i call the command line "regsvr32.exe mydll.dd". this time it worked but only if i run my setup as Admin. There are a mechanism in InstallShield which enable me to run a CA as Administrator ?
Any help will be appreciated !

You can also consider to use the InstallShield Self-Registration method to register your COM server DLLs. You need to check the Self Register checkbox on the Properties dialog that can be lauched from the right-click shortcut menu in the Files view in order to specify the method.
