Hi everyone, I know that it is not possible to add Flash Billboard to IS 2009 Premier Edition. I don't know why I pay a lot of money for the premier Edition.. but thats another story.
So I think the Billboard flash feature is basically an msi Feature, isn't it ?
Is it possible to add the Flash Billboard through the Direct Editor? I've already added some bmp Files. Do I need a special Windows Installer (4.5) to handle the flash billboards? Can some make me an example with 2009 Express, that I could have a look at the Billboard msi tables?
The flash billboard feature was added after IS2009 Premier/Professional was released, and the feature requires support in setup.exe and build which is not present in the IS2009 Premier/Professional release. The flash support was added while updating the existing billboard support in Express to work with UAC. I would not be surprised to see this available in Premier/Professional in a future release.
Hi Michael, thanks a lot for your answer. If it is a feature of setup.exe it seems that I have no chance to get this run in the Premier version 😞 So I'll wait for the next release 😉
