I have a bit of code in a script I would like to run before the prerequisites are installed. I do not see a way to do this? Is it possible with Basic MSI?
Not at this time, no. If you can wrap your installation that uses prerequisites inside another project (probably an InstallScript one) then there are ways to have a similar effect. However I'd tend to consider this hacky at best.
