ARM64 installer placing registry entries in the wrong node

Jump to solution

Using InstallSheild 2023 R2 (Version 29), I have created an ARM64 installer for my project by setting the appropriate values as outlined in the following document:

https://www.revenera.com/blog/software-installation/creating-installations-for-arm-based-devices/

The required registry entries are configured in the "Registry" section under "System Configuration" as shown in the first attachment. According to this configuration I expected the entries to be created directly under HKLM/Software but they are placed under HKLM/Software/WOW6432Node on a ARM64 Windows 11 machine as shown in the second attachment.

Is there a way to place these registry entries under the correct node? Any help would be very appreciated.

It looks like component "1E.Client.exe" contains the registry entry that you want to create - check it its component settings you have:
64-bit Component = Yes

Cheers,
Stuart
