1603:Error Installing Microsoft(R).NET Framework

I have included the .NET Framework in my Build. This was working fine in case of InstallShield 8.0. Shifting over to InstallShield 11.5 changed this.It generates this error.

You may try this:

I got this behavior with one of our clients. What I had him do is to remove the existing .NET 1.1 installation that was already installed and then tried it; it worked without the 1603 error.

Hello there, we are also experiencing the same problem on our installation when using Installshield 11.5. It was fine in Installshield 8.0. We notice this happening only on a clean Windows98 machine (as in not having any previous .NET framework installation).

Has anyone found a solution to this?
