I am running 10.5 Universal and 11.5 MultiPlatform on Windows XP SP2. When I attempt open a UIP file in 11.5, it chokes whilst converting to the new format.
Project Exception: An error occurred parsing the project (com.jxml.quick.QPE: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: array element type mismatch)
According to [thread=123390]this thread[/thread], one cause is the older version's project (such as its build settings) using platform packs not available in the newer version; could that be the case?
I reloaded 11.5 ISMP and the problem vanished. The only difference was that the first time I chose a custom install, but made no changes. The successful attempt, was a quick install.
