is there any way to write test cases for installanywhere? like JUnit test case? bcoz.. even if i make small change i am not sure .. but i might break something.. any way to do this?
An API was added to support automated testing. Users can create Java code to verify installers automatically (based on the JUnit framework) to help shorten QA cycles and improve reliability.
I don't have the 2008 version installed at hand, you should open the index.htm from the javadoc subfolder in your IA 2008 installation folder, you'll find it.
