require additional temporary disk space
Is there a way to specify the additional temporary disk space required by the installer?
Thanks,

Perhaps see if $DEVELOPER_DISK_SPACE_ADDITIONAL$ does what you want?

No. $DEVELOPER_DISK_SPACE_ADDITIONAL$ defines the additional disk space in the destination directory.
I need to define the additional TEMPORARY disk space required by the installer during runtime.

I gather that's the intention, that the variable indicates additional space needed on the system in order for installation to continue, even if the additional space isn't permanently consumed. Does that not apply to your requirement?

Correct. The disk space must be in /tmp, /var/tmp, or whatever the system default temporary directory.
After my installer unloads the files, it needs to execute some commands to configure the product. These commands require disk space in temporary directory to run.
