refresh windows problem

I see that there are known problems with IA refresh environment plug in with diff. OS. what is the alternative if we dont want to use refresh environment plug in? Thanks

The alternative is to use 'Restart Windows' option. Ask user if he wants to restart his computer automatically now.

Even Microsoft itself has chosen to reboot Windows when it installs stuff. If they haven't tried harder not to reboot Windows, why do you want to do it? 🙂

for the first time install i can reboot and for upgrade/downgrade i can not.
