need to point to a remote server but unable to do it
Hi, i am preparing the installer and my requirement is to point to a remote database server and run my load backup script out there. Will really be excited if you can show me some way out of it. And one more requirement is that in the custom install my product should be disabled for checking or unchecking and the other dependencies but in the custom install all my product features can be checked or unchecked. Can anyone please guide me out of it. It would be a pleasure if i can get any help fast as i have to meet deadlines.

When it comes to the short delay in which you would need the answers, you must understand that besides Macrovision employees, the rest of this forum's users are just users like yourself, who have daytime jobs, and answer others question whenever they can. I guess that if you need really urgent answers, you have no other choice but to contact Macrovision support (and I guess they still provide professional services).
