hi i want to write a custom code rule

hi,
i have a requirement in which i want to search the system for jdk1.5.0_08 and if it there i need to configure JAVA_HOME to point to it and then i will apppend the path till bin to PATH.
If you have or know some idea to write custom code rule for it just share it with me.
