Hello Nio
I didn't even know it was possible to have an uninstallation log?!? Is this a 2009 feature? How do you activate the possibility to get an uninstallation log?
Thanks!

I meant IA2009SP2.
I misunderstood the term "Uninstall Install Log" to Uninstallation log.
So is there no way to debug uninstallation. I have a scenario where I detect previous installed instance of the product and run its uninstaller before continuing. Now what's happening is that the uninstaller after uninstalling the "uninstaller resouces" is again trying to uninstall them.
Due to this, the uninstaller created by new instance is getting deleted.

You can change uninstaller log destination by editing appopiate properties for uninstaller. Click on button "Edit Properties" for your uninstaller and add some values for lax.stderr.redirect and lax.stdout.redirect properties (better to have same destination)
