Not getting exit code on IA2017 setup silent installation on linux environment

I have converted the IA2008 setup to IA2017 version.

Post this migration IA2017 setup silent installtion not printing exit code values. Deployment end with below lines. there is no success or exit code values. 

"8. final log file name=/tmp/test_setup/One.Install_10_21_2019_12_25_58.log"

Is there any specific configuration is required to get t exit code values?

Thank you for your post.

I do not recall seeing an exit code at the end of the standard install log or the verbose install debug log on Linux. Do you happen to have a snippet from an IA2008 log as an example?

On Windows, if you: echo %ERRORLEVEL%

or on Linux, if you: echo $?

does that return and output the exit code on the command line?
