Is it possible to migrate from ISMP 5.x to InstallAanywhere 2008?
We have product installations designed using ISMP 5.03 and we want to move to new version of the product. Is it possible to move to new version of installanywhere without great difficulty?
Thanks

Please see the InstallAnywhere product page; the Resources section has a white paper and FAQ that discuss migration from ISMP.

Thanks Robert. The white paper say how to move from latest ISMP version to InstallAnywhere which isnt our case. Therefore i thought of posing this question if any in the forums have come across this problem and what kind of challenges they faced in migrating from ISMP 5.x to InstallAnywhere 2008.
Thanks

Note that in the event that you are at present using automated installs of STAF (using ISMP), at that point you will probably need to alter your automated install to work with the IA STAF installers in STAF V3.3.0.
