I am trying to dynamically import a merge module into a parent installer. My aim is to import the pre-install, install an post-install tasks from the merge module to the parent installer. But I have observed the install actions from the merge module fail to show up in the parent installer, the pre-install and post install tasks show up.
AFAICT the dynamic merge modules are kind of like speed folders: you can't look inside. If you import a non-dynamic module you'll get all your actions nicely interleaved with the actions of the importing module. (But don't trust me: I've been using merge modules for all of three days...)
