HI, i have a problem with my installer which 1.2 GB in size.Once i run it for the first time it gets installed . But when i uninstall the installer and install it again , it gets terminated ,can anyone suggest me why???????????????????????????? I believe the TEMP directory is getting full????????????????? By design, the installer needs at least 3 times the installer size in free space. But a 1.2 GB installer is huge, given that normally the resource file is compressed (I even wonder how the zip is coping with such a huge file, I'm not sure what are the archive file size limitations these days).
hi, its true my resource.zip is 1.33GB in size. And yes it works fine ,i have tried my best to decrease the size of the installer but in vain. There are some folders and files which are common,Is it possible to use components to share them across multiple install sets ie typical and minimal. And if i use the speed folder can i decrease the size of the folder . Anyways i dont think so but just asking for some suggestions. Can you just tell me how to share the components for reducing the size of the installer. As whenever i use the components and assigning them to installer sets i am failing that is getting an error message.
