How to change the log file name?

Hi,

How can I set the log file name not to include but only $PRODUCT_NAME$_?

If you are setting more than one user-defined variable:

[LIST=1]

Goto the Pre-Install tab

Select the Add Action button

Select Set InstallAnywhere Variable - Multiple Variable

You see a dialog pop up

Select the Edit Variable button.

Another dialog pops up

Select Add

For the variable name, enter $INSTALL_LOG_NAME$

For its value, enter the desiired string.


If you are just setting one variable, then select Set InstallAnywhere Variable - Single Variable and follow the prompts.
