Error when launching installers on UNIX

When launching the installers on a UNIX machine, we have been noticing that the installer output shows ./: !: not found

Is there a way to get rid of this?

On what platform does this happen?

This happens on Solaris. According to my QA, all the UNIX platforms they try to install on. HPUX, HP-Itanium, and Solaris.

Also, we are using 2009 SP1.

Any VM bundled? If yes, what's it's version?

Yes bundled vm for Solaris 1.5.0_17
for HP and Itanium 1.5.0_14

Would you please try to launch your setups like this: sh -x setup.bin maybe there will be clearer where's the offending !

Maybe this indeed is a regression introduced by SP1. I suggest if it is possible to rollback to the 2009 version which seems to work correctly. And also if possible try to report the problem to the Acresso Suppport, maybe they'll acknowledge it (maybe it's already known, as being reported by someone else).

Yes, I rolled back to the previous version. I will submit something to support and see what they say. This doesn't keep the installer from working, we just don't want our customers seeing it and submitting bug reports to us on it.
