Does IA compress files?

I remember that when we used ISMP, all the including files are about 700MB. After building, the setup files are about 300MB.
But now we reorganize the same project with IA2008, and the installer is about 700MB, just a little bigger than the source files.
We check the "Optimize installer size by platform", no big difference.
So I wonder is there other ways to decrease the installer? Thanks very much!

AFAIK all IA resources are grouped in a single .zip so it should have been compressed. What you can try to do is to make use of .zip archives in your installer and see if does help a bit or not.
