During an installation I kick off an executable file, and during that file's execution the system is restarted.
Is it possible for IA to detect that the system was restarted during its installation and resume from where it left off or restart the installation again?
AFAIK no this is not possible. The only workaround I can think of is the following: launch the 3rd party .exe as the last action of your setup (in the post-installation task).
