Checking Windows Registry
Hi,
Can we chack whether a particular value under some registry value exists or not (value not the key). It should return only true\false.
Thanks.

Get Registry entry returns a Win32Exception that sets the warning flag.
Anyone know how to turn this warning off for specific calls?

According to release notes, there is a fix for this on version 2011 SP2 which is just out.
Otherwise whenever the key does not exist, it will show the exception

Hi Jérôme, I think you've mean IA 2010 SP2 and not IA 2011 SP2 (IA 2011 was just released in May, whereas IA 2010 was already at SP1).

No, I really meant 2011 SP2. This is only available since very few time, maybe you did not get the notification. Release notes can be found here
