Bundle JDK with installer
Hi,
Is it possible to bundle a JDK instead of a JRE with an installer?
And if so, how do I create such a VM pack. I can see that it is only possible to download VM packs for the JRE…
Regards
Torben Riis

Yes, it is possible to bundle a jdk. Read the "Creating VM Packs" section in the documentation. I've found it easier to take an existing VM pack and extract it as starting point. Then modify the vm.properties to distiguish it and replace the jre content with the jdk content. Then zip/tar it up according to the instructions.

I thought it was against the license to package the JDK, only the JRE could be packaged.

Yeah, AFAIK normally the JDK license prohibits redistribution...
