Upgrading Concurrent Licenses
Hello,
We are using FlexPublisher for concurrent software licensing. These files are stored on the customer server and accessed by the client PCs.
Let's say a customer is using a single concurrent license of version 1.0 of our software. When version 2.0 is released, the customer receives a new license file for 2.0. Now the customer has two license files, and can conceivably simultaneously run concurrent licenses of both 1.0 and 2.0. Is there any way to disable or overwrite the 1.0 license file to avoid this license duplication?
Thanks!
Tim

Hi @tim_blacker ,
Yes, you can use the SUPERSEDE License Model Modifier to replace the version 1.0 license with version 2.0. The version 2.0 license can be used to satisfy requests for both version 1.0 and 2.0 but will be capped at the quantity specified in the version 2.0 license.
Thx,
Jim
