I have licensed application. I wish to provide floating licenses to my customers. My customers use a variety of platforms as license servers (eg windows/Solaris/Linux). This requires me to create the "vendor deamon" for each platform. In order to do this I have to have a sofware build environment for each platform. Is my understanding correct? Is there any way around this requirement?
As there is a different binary for different platforms, you are required to build your Vendor daemon for each platform seperately. In short, you are right.
