I have a Flexnet License server which has a set of concurrent licenses for InstallShield being managed by 'mvsn' vendor daemon. I have tried to limit the assignment of these licenses to a specific hostgroup and to a host using the options file 'mvsn.opt', but this license restriction is not working.
Can somebody please share info on how to do this license restriction or a link to documentation on this topic?
Licenses being used: Installshield concurrent licenses.
Can you have a look at the section "Node-Locked Licenses Using Hostid" on page 56 of LicAdmin.pdf(doc lib is attached) and see if that solves the use case?
The licenses I have are concurrent licenses and not the node linked licenses. But I see other options in the document you shared which I can work with, to hopefully get the desired result.
