Hello,
I added a vendor daemon with lmadmin (on a redhat virtual machine), but the daemon is not launched and lmadmin.log says :
root.LicenseEngine (CORMEZ) exited with status 36. (No features to serve)
again and again :
2022-02-21 04:48:53,120 root.LicenseEngine (CORMEZ) exited with status 36. (No features to serve)
2022-02-21 04:48:54,120 root.Vendor (CORMEZ) stopped.
2022-02-21 04:48:54,122 root.LicenseEngine (CORMEZ) exited with status 36. (No features to serve)
2022-02-21 04:48:55,129 root.Vendor (CORMEZ) stopped.
2022-02-21 04:48:55,130 root.LicenseEngine (CORMEZ) exited with status 36. (No features to serve)2022-02-21 04:48:56,130 root.Vendor (CORMEZ) stopped.
The CORMEZ.log is empty.
Any idea of what can I try ? Thank you for your help!
Best regards

Hi @francois_meloc Yes, an invalid licence key is the problem with the sign now, you might have altered it, if you have lmcrypt then you can crypt again and use it or try to download the original license file and update only CORMEZ executable file location in it and then save and start the server. If this did not help please raise a support case, we can have a quick call to fix the issue.

Hi @francois_meloc as per the lmadmin log the license server is not able to find the vendor demon binary to run the VD CORMEZ which means the VD binary path for CORMEZ.rc is missing from your license file or it did not have permission to read

Hello,
Thank you for your quick answer.
What do you mean by CORMEZ.rc ? Is it a file ? I have a CORMEZ executable (the file I indicated in lmadmin) but no file with a rc extension.
I added VENDOR CORMEZ CORMEZ in the licence file and now I get some log in CORMEZ.logs (I removed the hexadecimal data of SIGN since I don't know if it is private or public data)
10:43:59 (CORMEZ) Invalid license key (inconsistent authentication code)
10:43:59 (CORMEZ) ==>FEATURE simurealv2023 CORMEZ 1.000 31-dec-2022 1 BORROW SIGN="..."
10:43:59 (CORMEZ) License server system started on localhost.localdomain
10:43:59 (CORMEZ) No features to serve, exiting
10:43:59 (CORMEZ) EXITING DUE TO SIGNAL 36 Exit reason 4

@francois_meloc yes, it's CORMEZ executable file only, also no need to remove the sign value. Keep the same license file and make sure you have given the path of the executable
--
SERVER this_host ANY
VENDOR CORMEZ "D:\i86_n3-11.17.2.0_v6\i86_n3\CORMEZ"
--
so the CORMEZ executable file location should be there in the license file.
After updating the file path, load the license file again and start the server.

Even with the full path in the licence, I still get the error.
I put the root as owner of lmadmin folder and did chmod 777 for the all folder.
I tried to stop the /usr/local/share/FNP/service64/11.18.3/FNPLicensingService service and to start it manually with a sudo.
Each time I remove the daemon from the lmadmin API and import it again. I still get this error in CORMEZ.logs :
11:33:44 (CORMEZ) Invalid license key (inconsistent authentication code)
11:33:44 (CORMEZ) ==>FEATURE simurealv2023 CORMEZ 1.000 31-dec-2022 1 BORROW SIGN="0B3D \

11:33:44 (CORMEZ) License server system started on localhost.localdomain
11:33:44 (CORMEZ) No features to serve, exiting
11:33:44 (CORMEZ) EXITING DUE TO SIGNAL 36 Exit reason 4
"invalid licence key", could it not be just a mismatch betwen the licence file and the daemon ?
Else there is the last solution, I don't know if lmadmin has been installed with admin rights. Actually I don't know how I could unistall it and re-install it, it seems to me I have never installed it, an executable was already included, but may be I have forget something I have done.
