We are transferring all our licenses to a new server. This time it's a virtual server. In the meantime 9 daemons ar running without problem, but one daemon will not run. With lmadmin I will not get any messages why and with "Flexlm Service" I will get the message "xxxLMD exited with status 53 (Incorrect value for the environment variable LM_BINDING_AGENT)". I was trying to find some more informations and have tried a little bit with that variable, but without success. But it seems that for that it is necessary to install SW on the VMVARE OS, but the system management will not do this (high available server farm, no mor support from VMVARE,...). Are there any other possibilities ? Is there a more detailed description ?
